Baby Birth Sampler
When I was wee, any time a new baby arrived there was always someone – usually one of my granny’s pals – who’d cross stitch a wee baby sampler with the name, date, weight and all that. I always loved that idea of giving something hand-made and personal.
Now that my pals are starting to have bairns of their own, I wanted to do the same for them. Instead of cross stitching, I stitch the details onto a newborn babygrow – so you can always see just how tiny they once were. It’s a lovely keepsake and makes such a sweet gift.
If you’re interested, just get in touch and tell me what you’ve got in mind. We can chat about the design, the colours you like, what details you want included, and whether you’d prefer it on a babygrow or just on fabric. Once we’ve had a blether, I can give you an idea of cost and how long it’ll take (usually up to about two weeks).
